TRACIE LAYMON

Writer/Director/Producer

Named to IFC’s list of emerging "Icons" and film innovators, Tracie Laymon studied filmmaking at the University of Texas at Austin while cutting her teeth as a video journalist for Time Warner News and interning for Richard Linklater at Detour Film. Her directorial projects have won jury awards at SXSW and countless other festivals, while her screenwriting pursuits have won her additional awards and honors at competitions such as LA Comedy Festival, Madrid International Film Festival, BlueCat, Scriptapalooza, ScreenCraft and many more. Tracie brings over 15 years of production experience on movies and TV shows to Bob Trevino Likes It. The film is inspired by Tracie’s life experiences and a friendship she found when searching for her estranged father online.

SEAN MULLIN

Producer

Sean Mullin is an award-winning writer, director, and producer. As a writer/director, his films include the indie romance, Amira & Sam (Drafthouse Films); the brewmaster documentary, Kings of Beer (Gravitas); and the Yogi Berra documentary, It Ain’t Over (Sony Pictures Classics). As a producer, his films include Allegiance (XYZ Films); Semper Fi (Lionsgate); and Bob Trevino Likes It (SXSW 2024 World Premiere). Sean holds an MFA from Columbia University and a B.S. from The United States Military Academy at West Point. He is a member of the WGA and PGA – and is represented by UTA.

EDGAR ROSA

Producer

Edgar Rosa is a multi-racial line producer from Des Moines, Iowa. Growing up in theater and music was the foundation of his artistic endeavors before the film industry. He received his BA in Film Production at Emerson College in 2012 before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his Masters in Producing at the AFI Conservatory. Edgar began to work professionally in digital media during the rise of YouTube and social media influencers/creators. He has lent his services on commercials, TV series, and feature films across the United States. These jobs have allowed him to build an impressive list of collaborators in a relatively short amount of time. Outside of work, Edgar spends his time educating himself on social justice, volunteering, listening to music, redesigning his apartment, being involved in the sex-positive community, and wondering why they haven't arrested the murderers of innocent black, indigenous, and other persons of color from the last 400 years+ in American history.

FELIPE DIEPPA

Felipe Dieppa is a writer/producer who most recently executive produced Charlie Kaufman's (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I'm Thinking of Ending Things) latest work, Jackals & Fireflies. He has produced or executive produced over a dozen feature films, shorts, and commercials. He was a child actor, originating the voice of "Diego" on Dora the Explorer, and starring in Dan in Real Life. He is currently a founding board member of 502 Film, a Kentucky-based non-profit dedicated to nurturing the State's burgeoning film industry.

CARL EFFENSON

Executive Producer

Carl Effenson is an award-winning producer whose credits include Dee Rees’ Mudbound which was nominated for four history-making Academy Awards. It was the recipient of the Humanitas Prize and Robert Altman Award at the 2018 Independent Spirit Awards in addition to being the Washington Post and LA Times' Best Picture of the Year. His film Mending the Line starring SAG, BAFTA & Golden Globe-winning actor Brian Cox was recently released worldwide by Sony Pictures in September 2023. He is currently in post-production as an executive producer on Bob Trevino Likes It starring Barbie Ferreira and John Leguizamo, which is set to appear at the 2024 SXSW film festival.
